Description

The church of Our Lady the Virgin Mary (Kyra-Panagia) is located in Oia and celebrates its saint's name day on September 8. The church is also called the Virgin Mary of the Pebbles (Panagia Chochlidati, because the floor inside the church is pebbles, chochlidia) and the Virgin Mary in Marble (Panagia Marmarini, because the iconostasis is made of marble).
