Description

Path 3 connects Kamari with Perissa via Ancient Thera on the mountain called Mesa Vouno. This is the starting point for the path from Perissa, which climbs up to 360 meters at Ancient Thera (1300 meters' walk, about 40 minutes), then descends to Kamari (total distance of 2900 meters, 1 hour and 20 minutes), passing the little church of the Life-Giving Spring (Zoodochos Pigi) on the way. We follow the same path from Perissa for about 10 minutes to get to the little church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) Katefiani, which is built on the rock of Mesa Vouno that rises above the beach of Perissa.
