Description

Coastal village in the middle of the eastern side of island, behind the airport. It has a large beach with black sand and shallow water (making it suitable for families with young children). It is also worth seeing the old tomato factory of D. Nomikos. The name of the village comes from the name of the rock on which the church of Saint John (Agios Giannis) was built (next to the airport fence, at its northeastern end).
