Description

The small volcanic island of Palea Kameni (right next to Nea Kameni) began to be created with the volcanic eruptions between 46 and 47 AD. Many hot springs can be found along its coast, and they are accessible by tour boat from Fira. It is a special experience to swim in the water that sulfur colors yellow-brown. Boats take tourists to swim in the bay of Agios Nikolaos.
